The few bewildered tourists didn't know what was happening. For 5 minutes the participants held their positions, and then magically everyone unfroze. Why? Well, why not.

The guys abuse the fact that the can only be given a £30 fine for their traffic offences if caught and that riding on the pavements, around the other offside signs towards oncoming traffic, through red lights, across the path of pedestrians crossing on a green man etc. It is u that is talking utter shite. Australia does have some awesome cities (especially Perth and Melbourne which are the best IMO). The Brits do, however, have a much more in depth history and distinct architecture.

The Health and Safety issue only applies when trying to operate an old rout master without the conductor so it was cheaper to remove them from the road. The new rout master won't have the same problem since they will keep the open platform closed and use the two other doors unless they pay an extra member of staff to stand at the back.

I've just come back from a 2 week stay in London. London is a wonderful city, but pride and ignorance run through it like a virus; the wealthiest of society walking past those who have nothing. Then they say there's places where the homeless can go to get help. Such places are hard to find even if you have internet access; I don't know how they survive and it broke my heart at not been able to help any of them. "Got any spare change, mate?" No, I replied. : - (

Our status is very fragile. My brother Alan had disappeared off the radar for many years until some caring people found him and turned his life around. I can't believe how many people liked my comment about him. I never expected anything like that. It just shows how many people out there really do care. Good luck.
